Alfred Y. Wen

Principal

Alfred Wen founded KSA Architects, PC in 1994.  He has more than 35 years of experience as an architect and designer.  Before starting his own firm, he had worked with Harry Weese & Associates, Arnold Associates, Robinson & Mills, Stephen B. Jacobs & Associates and HLW International.

He earned his undergraduate degree in architecture from Princeton University and his master's degree in architecture from Columbia University.  At both, he learned design approaches from leading educators and practitioners including Michael Graves, Robert Geddes, Robert Stern, Romaldo Guirgola and James Polshek.

Just as each new project is partially shaped by the previous one, the experience from previous firms and schools continue to inform and influence his work and views about architecture and design.
